Thanks to the Clean Transportation Funding from the MSRC for a demonstration project, Bear Valley USD actually changed its policy to switch to the cleaner burning fuel for its school bus fleet. The City of Riverside's project to team up with three surrounding jurisdictions to synchronize traffic lights is a fascinating case study of a remarkably effective transportation demand program that is helping save drivers time and money, while helping to improve air quality. The final article documents the significant success of the MSRC's innovative Rideshare Thursday advertising and marketing campaign featuring an LA Kings public service announcement and other creative messages which collectively encouraged millions of Southern Californians to "Drive Less.
