Don't Miss the Current Edition of the MSRC's Clean Air Roadmap Newsletter

The summer edition of the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee's (MSRC) electronic newsletter Clean Air Roadmap is here. This edition features profiles of two of the MSRC's recent partnerships for the purchase of cleaner fueled compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles. Community Action Partnership, a local nonprofit in Orange County, received Clean Transportation Funding from the MSRC to acquire a new CNG 16-foot box truck for its green energy program, which provides home weatherization services to income-qualified, at-risk households. Fox Transportation is a national transportation and logistics company that added 20 new CNG delivery box trucks to its fleet with MSRC funding, helping them with their commitment to deploy 100 CNG vehicles throughout Southern California by the end of the year. The MSRC's incentive program for Phill home CNG- refueling units is highlighted, describing the mechanics of the program and reporting on the successes date. The newsletter's Facts-at-a-Glance depicts communing facts for Southern Californians versus the national average, examining how long it takes us to get to work and the percentage of workers who use alternative modes of transportation to get to work. You can subscribe to receive the MSRC's e-newsletter by signing up on the MSRC's website www.CleanTransportationFunding.org and selecting the electronic newsletter option under notification preferences. The next edition of Clean Air Roadmap will be available in the fall.
