Norton-Perry represents the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) on the MSRC's board, and served as Vice Chair of the MSRC last year. She is active in a number of transportation and regional organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for SANBAG, the County transportation agency, and Omnitrans, the San Bernardino Valley transit agency. She is employed by JG Construction, located in Chino, as a Director of Marketing and Business Development. MSRC Chair Page 2
"The MSRC provides an important source of funding to support the many local leaders and projects that share the MSRC's commitment to reducing air pollution from mobile sources," said Norton-Perry. "The MSRC encourages us to work together to identify ways that this entire region can enjoy clean air that allows those who live, work and visit here, especially our children, seniors and those who already suffer from respiratory problems to be able to breathe without worry."
Temecula Council Member Ronald H. Roberts was elected Vice-Chair of the MSRC. Roberts also serves as president of the Southern California Association of Governments Regional Council and as a Commissioner on the Riverside County Transportation Commission Board of Directors, in addition to several other organizations dedicated to local and regional transportation issues. He is a retired California Highway Patrol Sergeant.
Norton-Perry replaces Bradbury Mayor Beatrice LaPisto-Kirtley as Chair of the MSRC.
