DIAMOND BAR, Calif. - The Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) is holding a series of workshops to get stakeholder ideas about how to allocate millions of dollars in Clean Transportation Funding for its upcoming annual Work Program. The first workshop was held in Orange County on July 12. The more than 25 attendees offered great ideas for projects for which they would like to see funding available - everything from bikesharing to traffic signal synchronization to continued funding for alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure. In fact, suggestions from last year's successful workshops helped spur at least two Work Program categories that the MSRC funded this year - the Transit-Oriented Bikeshare Program and the Medium Duty Vehicle Program - so attending these workshops and providing input really does make a difference.
