The MSRC has an exciting new funding opportunity for zero-emission microtransit services in the South Coast Air District. The MSRC has up to $2.5 million available for technology-enabled, shared mobility strategies that fill the gap between traditional “fixed route” transit and “ride hailing technology.”
Volvo Financial Services (VFS) is assisting its customers that are transitioning to electric vehicles. VFS applied to the MSRC’s Inland Ports Program and was awarded more than $3.9 million towards the lease of 14 battery-electric trucks and infrastructure.
Over the past two years, the California State budget has invested billions of dollars in zero- emission vehicle (ZEV) incentives and infrastructure. Unfortunately, due to falling state revenue, the Governor’s proposed FY 2023-24 state budget significantly reduces state funding for clean transportation.
