Contractor provided a child care facility located in conjunction with a multi-modal transit center. The intent of the project was to encourage working families to utilize transit commuting by having child care services available. This will maximize time and resources while reducing automobile trips usually required for famiy child care.

Based upon a daily patronage of 70 children, it is estimated the annual emissions reduced will be 18,465 pounds; annual vehicle miles reduced, 657,720.
