The EVs replaced gasoline-powered vehicles. Five were assigned to Parking Enforcement and one was assigned to Parking Operations. Parking Enforcement staff patrol residential and commercial areas for parking violations. Parking Operations supervises twelve parking structures. Vehicles are on patrol seven days a week, working in nine hour shifts in city traffic. Average mileage per vehicle is 40 miles per day. The bikes are used in lieu of gasoline-powered vehicles on full-time patrols.
