Project Background
Contractor purchased two 1998 Ford Ranger EVs and two charging stations. One truck was deployed at the Palm Springs Regional Airport and was driven an average of 549 miles per month. The second vehicle was assigned to the Palm Springs Park Department and averaged 527 miles per month in and around the parks. One charger was installed at the airport. The other charger was installed in the City Maintenance Yard.
