Contractor purchased a 40-foot motor home especially configured to educate adults and children on ways to curtail emissions. When funds for the bus tours diminished, the contractor shifted to a program for elementary school children. The bus can accommodate one class at a time to see murals and photographs extolling the virtues of biking and carpooling. Brochures were available about transit, air quality, driving, walking, Metrolink and ridesharing among others.
