The long lead times associated with parking management strategies make it difficult to quantify emission reductions at the present. In projects of this type, the emission reductions will depend upon the acceptance of the cash-out program. There will be emission reductions as the employees switch to mass transit.
Details of the areas studied and the reasons for the seven regions chosen for inclusion in the project and vehicle miles traveled (VMT) reduction projections. The intricacies of the "bundled" lease project are covered in detail. Marketing strategies for encouragement of cash out parking programs are included.
