The City of Ontario is very familiar with clean fuel vehicles; we currently operate 67 CNG powered vehicles of all sizes, ranging from light duty pick-ups to commercial refuse trucks. The City also operates a CNG station to further support the advancement of alternative fuel.

These vehicles were purchased using the Bidding process.
Project Objectives
The City of Ontario replaced two (2) diesel powered vehicles with clean fuel vehicles. Addiitionally, the City added three (3) CNG fueled heavy duty refuse vehicles.
Project Results Description
The City remains committed to do its part to guarantee a safe and clean environment for the community. The certified Nox emission level for these vehicles is 1.2 (g/bhp-hr)
