Project Implementation
The County of San Bernardino partnered with several vendors and put in service various models of CNG & LNG powered Heavy duty trucks. This started in July 2007 and completed in MAy 2009. All Trucks are in service and the older diesel trucks have been sold out of state
Project Objectives
The purpose of this project was to replace 8 older diesel powered heavy duty trucks
Project Results Description
The trucks are operatiing regularly ,.producing 90% less pariticlate matter than the older diesel trucks that were replaced . Reduction of NOx is approx 2 ton per year for each truck
