Custom Alloy Light Metals (Custom Alloy) operates a fleet of compressed natural gas (CNG) heavy-duty trucks used in their business. Custom Alloy partnered with the MSRC to construct a limited access CNG refueling station at the company headquarters located at 13329 Ector Street in the City of Industry.

The emission reductions associated with a clean-fuel strategy are typically accounted for by the low-emission vehicles as opposed to supporting refueling infrastructure. Custom Alloy constructed the CNG refueling station at their company headquarters located in the City of Industry. The CNG station allows convenient onsite refueling for Custom Alloy's growing fleet of heavy-duty CNG trucks.

Project Objectives

The purpose of this project was to construct a limited access CNG refueling station to support a growing fleet of heavy-duty CNG trucks operated by Custom Alloy in the City of Industry.

Project Status Description

The project was completed as of January 2014. To date, no technical issues have been encountered with the refueling station equipment.
